After the long jubilation of earning the championship in Season 67...it is time for some sad news. What has been rumors before had turn to facts because "Captain Hook" Mac cardona is finally leaving DLSU to pursue his dreams in the PBA. But anyway I'll still support his decision since he is my idol and ever since I admired him as I player I told myself that whenever he turns pro I'm still gonna support him (hopefully I can catch live PBA games). I hope Mac would be a top draft pick (he should be!) and he must go to the best team (hopefully san Miguel or Alaska!). Go Mac!!!! ANIMO LASALLE! Thanks for all the great plays you have shown to us!

Yes, Welcoat defeated us again, and by 30 points! Despite Captain Hook scoring 23 points, it did not help us get closer with the enemy's score.

Congratulations still for a very great season! I believe they really did better this time, knowing that they faced Goliaths! They are the Davids in the league and they were still able to keep up...great job guys! I know this conference have helped them train for the next UAAP season. We'll be expecting more spectacular plays from you guys in the future! can't wait!!!

Besides, there is still light for the team for Captain hook is leading the points statistical race! I'm gonna get really mad if he doesn't even get into the Mythical Five!!!! A MVP award? Let's see!

The Archers have finally entered the quarterfinals by beating Wecoat yesterday, 95-89!!! Bye bye Toyata-Otis Letran and Air Philippines!!!! Anyway Captain hook scored 31 points and 11 rebounds! Great stats there! And The Ninja scored 23 points!These guys are really great!

I would also like to thank them for goin on overtime, if not for that I wouldn't have watched the game for I was asleep the whole 4 quearters of the game...I was really sleepy that time...it seems they really wanted me to watch the game...LOL!

Yeo is back on track by hitting lots of triples...keep it up!

60-72, it really seemed that FEU really wanted to get back big from the Archers. Oh well it was raining with 3-point shots courtesy of Yeo, and Cua also made one. It was tight at first but the 3rd qtr hammered the Archers down. The lead became big in the 4th qtr. The Archers tried to come back with a few minutes left but it was just not enough. One ore game against Welcoat, let's just see what will happen...ANIMO LASALLE!!!!!

The Archers lost in their last game with Montana, it was not really bad though cause it was really a tight game. But the Archers missed the big contributions from hard-working sophomore Ryan Arana and 2003 UAAP ROY Jayvee Casio. Ryan scored none, and Jayvee only scored 2 despite Mac leading with 18 points and Tang, Yeo and Benitez providing 10 points each.

Now they are facing Magnolia FEU, their hot hot rival from the last UAAP season. It is currently a close game and I hope I'll be able to give out good news in my next post! ANIMO LASALLE!!!!

No PBL games yet...so I have no updates yet about ICTSI...

JV CASTRO, who the hell is JV CASTRO? Typographical error by the newspaper as usual. I checked The Inquirer a while ago for the score of the ICTSI-Air Philippines game yster. They did not post it, but they posted a pic of Jayvee Casio and Te and referred Jayvee as JV CASTRO....oh well...at least we won yesterday! It was really a close game but thanks to the dynamic duo of Cardona and Yeo who garnered 26 points and 20 points respectively,the Archers now are 4-6 in the team standings. Yeah they are still not yet in the 1st four but still it is still okay at least they are not the team with the lowest standing. CONGRATS again ARCHERS!

The Archers were stabbed again by the mighty swords of the Knights. I was not able to watch the game...it was too late when I checked our newspaper for th PBL schedule. Oh well...one thing to be happy about is that our very own Mac cardona is leading the league in stats with 22.8 pts per game. He is also leading in the efficiency rating despite sitting out in one game! A good thing also to note is that he is also 10th in assists in the league with 2.9 apg. Way the go MAC!!!! ANIMO LASALLE!

91-96...that ws the score in the game of ICTSI-LASALLE versus Toyota Otis-Letran. I can say even if the team lost, they were at least able to put up a good fight. I believe Letran had a 19-points more in some parts of the game...or higher (20+ I think). the Archers were already raging to catch the lead during the 3rd quarter...but still it wasn't enough for Letran was ready to counter their offense and defense. But believe me...it was raining with 3 pointers...that Macapagal guy...grrr...oh well. Lasalle was just not in shape without TY Tang who suffered a sprain last Sunday, with Yeo who just got well from a flu, and cardona who was just recovering from a sprain that he got in their practice last Saturday. It may be the finish of the 1st half of the eliinations...ther eis still the 2nd round...the Archers can still do it!!! ANIMO LASALLE!

* By the way, the Alumni office is now selling the UAAP dvd for the price of 500 (Game 2 final four, game 1 and 3 of the finals. just wanna share! :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAC CARDONA!!!! Okay was it really a "Happy" birthday? Being suspended for one game and losing by 30 pts to Magnolia-FEU would not make Captain Hook's birthday a reason for celebration. Oh well...let's hope for good things on your coming games! ANIMO LASALLE pa din!!!!

The Archers fell again in the hands of the much-experienced squad of Montaña...91-77. Mac Cardona did try to beat his score in their last game against Welcoat. he emerged with 24 points, his usual score, but still it didn't help even with the assistance of Yeo and Gaco who scored 13 and 12 respectively. But still the Archers gained praises for putting up a good fight, besides these guys are really young compared to other squads.

Down to 2-3, but this is still not the time to fret...this is basketball...and as always anything can happen.

Does Coach Franz need to come back as quick as possible for the ICTSI Archers? Uhm I don't think so (but it would be nice though). But having Gee Abanilla as their Coach right now is not so bad...it's really good you know. They were able to win 2 games with big margins (the first with Addict-Ateneo, and the 2nd with Air Phillipines 96-77). okay they lost in their last game against Welcoat...but what the heck? Anything can still happen...as if they haven't faced the same situation huh? 69-51...I'm sure they can get back...good luck on their game on their Thursday! ANIMO LASALLE!!!!

Hurrah! The Archers surely have shown how real champions play!!! They pushed Addict Mobile-Ateneo to the ground in all quarters as they scored 81 points over Addict's 57!!! There were also a shower of three-point shots from Mac, Yeo and Jayvee!!! Way the go guys! With this kind of play...they would be able to face any team in this league! Hope they get to the top! ANIMO LASALLE!!!! Hail to Mac Cardona for scoring 28 pints, 4 rebounds and 1 stl!!! Go for the MVP award!!!!!!

ICTSI ARCHERS BOWED AGAINST GRANNY GOOSE

The Archers may have fallen in their first game in the PBL, but still as usual anything could happen. The first game does not predict who will rise up as the champion. It had happened before, the Archers lost their first game in the recent UAAP season against their arch-rival Ateneo, but still look where they are now? Let’s all cheer for them tomorrow as they face their arch-rival again in the PBL! This is gonna be a hot game!(I dunno if Chris is already part of the ADMU PBL team...oh well I just like the pics...)

Yes until now the La Sallians are still in Cloud 9...but a new battle awaits...the PBL opens tomorrow, so let us support the ICTSI-La Salle Archers team as they fight their way for the PBL crown! Grabe I didn't know people will still visit this site...that's why I just moved my Archer mania blog to my tabulas site (www.tabulas.com/~archer_razilia). I'm so happy some people dropped by and I'm really happy that the Archers won last thursday...CHAMPIONS ULIT!!! ANIMO LASALLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Archers' current standing...2-1...we won against NU and FEU and bowed down to our archrivals, Ateneo. On Saturday we face ADU, another final 4 contender...good luck to the Archers!!!! 

This is the day...the battle that will make the whole nation stick to their TV screens...an adrenaline rush for the Lasallians and Ateneans...DLSU vs. ADMU...finally an early match!!! Wohoo!! Can't wait!!! I'm still grateful to have tickets...kahit GA lang!!! Hopefully the game would be great minus the fights! Pure cheering, adoration, support and love for school should prevail!!!!!
